RSC Article impact survey prize draw terms and conditions

  1. The Promoter of this prize draw is the Royal Society of Chemistry (“the Promoter”) The Promoter of this prize draw is the Royal Society of Chemistry (“the Promoter”) of 290-292 Milton Science Park, Milton Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WF. Registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales under number 207890.
  2. The prize draw is open to all respondents who complete the RSC Customer Service survey.
  3. The Promotion is only available to persons over the age of 18.
  4. No purchase is necessary to enter the prize draw.
  5. To enter the prize draw fill out the RSC Customer Service survey and confirm that you wish to enter by submitting your name and email address.
  6. Only one entry per person.
  7. There is one prize of £25 Amazon voucher (or local equivalent for any overseas winners, depending on exchange rates at the time of the transaction). Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the prizes with other prizes of a similar value in the event that the original prizes are not available.
  8. The prize draw will run on a monthly basis. Entries received from 00:01 on the first day of a calendar month until 23.59 on the last day of that calendar month (the “Closing date”) will be entered in to the prize draw for that calendar month. The winning entry will be drawn by the Promoter using a computer program to randomly generate winners.
  9. The winners will be notified by email within one month of the prize draw to the email address specified when the survey was completed. If the winners do not claim the prize within 30 days of being notified then they will forfeit the prize and a re-draw will take place.
  10. To claim the prize the winner must follow the instructions in the email notifying them that they have won a prize. The prize will be despatched to the winner no later than 6 weeks after they claim the prize.
  11. No responsibility will be accepted for incomplete, illegible or lost entries or entries not received for any reason.
  12. In the event of any dispute the Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
  13. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for the prize being lost, damaged or delayed.
  14. The Promoter shall have no liability to the winner or any third party for any inability of the winner to claim the prize, or to take the full benefit of it as a result of the voucher retailer’s terms and conditions or any other reason.
  15. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and is not redeemable for cash or other prizes.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right to modify or withdraw the Promotion at any time without prior notice.
  17. By entering the prize draw you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  19. Employees of the Royal Society of Chemistry, or their associated companies, and employees of any agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw are not eligible to participate.

  21. These terms and conditions are governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales and will have exclusive Jurisdiction.
