Michael Peter Ward CChem MRSC

Michael Peter Ward was born December 14, 1942 in Bolton, Lancs. He died August 13, 2018 in San Diego, California at the age of 75 years following a stroke.
He was quiet, studious and patient as a child . He dearly loved his younger sister and as soon as she knocked down whatever he was building he would quietly rebuild.
He achieved his Ph D in Organic Chemistry in 1970 at Salford. He was a member of Royal Society of Chemistry since 1966.
He worked his whole career as a process research chemist in the Pharmaceutical Industry first at May and Baker in Dagenham, Essex and then at Abbott Laboratories in Chicago, Illinois.
In 1976 he married Chris Ward nee Carter who also worked in the Pharmaceutical Industry as a Regulatory Affairs professional.
Michael retired in 1998 to explore his many hobbies including model railways, stamp collecting, gardening and travelling.
He was a gentleman, a quiet, loving and beautiful soul much loved by all who knew him.
