With a varied career, senior management experience and changes of job type and sector, I have both the experience and a genuine desire to support others in developing as a professional.
I first worked for the Royal Society of Chemistry from 1997 until 2004 in the role of professional services manager looking after members’ career development and professional issues.
After working in a freelance consultancy and training role for a couple of major professional bodies in the engineering sector, I returned to the role of careers specialist in March 2013. I’m a chemist and a long-term Royal Society of Chemistry member (36 years at the last count!).
I’m still very interested in chemistry and all things scientific, and I enjoy supporting fellow members in advancing their professional lives.
