This symposium will offer opportunities to students, post-doc and established academics working on nucleic acids research (in its brodest possible sense) to present their work in the form of oral presentations and posters. This meeting is intented to foster networking and collaborations between the UK and the Italian nucleic acids and chemical biology communities. Therefore oral contributions will be equally split between UK and Italian representatives to ensure fair representations of the research led by the two communiuties.
The symposium will also feature 3 outstanding plenary speakers:
Cindy Burrows (Univeristy of Utah), as the Lilley lectureship recepient
Zoë Waller (UCL), as invited plenary speaker from the UK
Fabiana Quaglia (University of Naples Federico II), as invited plenary speaker from Italy
Contribution from any nucleic acid researcher are mostrly welcome, we aim to cover the broadest possible range of nucleic acids research including, but not limited to, synthesis of nucleic acids and analogues, genomics, bioinformatics, computational studies and AI, structural biology and biophysics. This symposium is mainly aimed at UK and Italian based researchers but we welcome any nucleic acids researcher.

Abstracts should be filled using the attached template and should not exceed a single page. All abstracts should be submitted using the link on the registration webpage.
Please specify whether you would like to be considered for an oral presentation or a poster when submitting your abstract. We will be in touch early September to notify if you have been allocated an oral presentation. We aim to consider as many posters as possible for presentation, but limitations might be imposed if a high number of submission is received. Therefore, we reccommed to exprress your interest in presenting a poster ASAP so that we can arrange sufficient boards and spaces accordingly.
Registration includes access to the symposium and all related activities including lunches and dinners. Accomodation at a discounted rate can be obtained in the conference hotel for registered attendees. Students can arrange shared 2-3 people rooms with the hotel if appropriate.
Registration fees are:
£175 for PhD (or Master) students that are members of the RSC or Italian Chemical Society
£200 for Phd (or Master) students that are not members of the RSC of Italian Chemical Society
£250 early bid full registration for non RSC or Italian Chemical Society members
£250 full registration for RSC or Italian Chemical Society members
£300 late full registration for non RSC or Italian Chemical Society members
