The Green IUPAC 2026 is organized by the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry (IUPAC) – International Committee on Green Chemistry for Sustainable Development, the Portuguese Chemical Society (SPQ), NOVA School of Science and Technology (NOVA FCT), and the University of Lisbon (ULisboa).

11th IUPAC International Conference on Green Chemistry – Green IUPAC 2026, will take place from September 8–12, 2026, at the Rectorate of the NOVA University of Lisbon, Portugal.  The Green IUPAC 2026 will bring together key stakeholders from academia, research, industry, NGOs, policymakers, and society to promote the advancement of green chemistry and sustainable development. The conference will feature plenary and keynote lectures from world-leading scientists, as well as oral and poster presentations, fostering a rich interdisciplinary exchange. The Green IUPAC 2026 edition will cover the following topics: ·        Green Synthesis, Catalysis & Green Solvents ·        Green Chemical Engineering & Technology ·        Carbon dioxide utilization ·        Bioeconomy (Terrestrial and Marine Resources, among others) ·        Green Energy ·        Green Chemistry Education ·        AI in Green Chemistry All details can be found at the conference website: https://www.greeniupac2026.org/

 

The speakers panel includes two Nobel prizes in Chemistry, Prof Omar Yaghi , Prof Morten Meldal, and also other internationally recognized speakers such as  Prof Paul Anastas, Prof. Martyn Poliakoff and Prof. Mathias Beller, among many others.
