Introducing our new book series
Our book series span a wide range of topics across all fields of the chemical sciences, providing high-quality reference works for researchers in academia and industry.
This year we will publish the first books in two new series.
New series in 2016
Food Chemistry, Function and Analysis
Series editors: Gary Williamson, Leeds, UK; Alejandro G Marangoni, Guelph, Canada: and Juliet Gerrard, Canterbury, New Zealand.
Announcing Food Biosensors, the first book to be published in this series on food chemistry, the functions of food in relation to health and the analytical methods and approaches used by scientists in the field.
Chemical Biology
Editor-in-chief: Tom Brown, Oxford, UK.
Series editors: Sabine Flitsch, Manchester, UK; Kira J Weissman, Lorraine, France; Nick J Westwood, St Andrews, UK.
Providing a suite of reference books aimed at researchers investigating chemistry and biology, the first books in this new venture will be published at the end of 2016.
New series coming soon
Inorganic Materials
Series editors: Duncan Bruce, University of York, Dermot O’Hare, University of Oxford and Richard Walton, University of Warwick.
This new book series will cover contemporary research topics on inorganic materials. Each volume will focus on either a specific materials class, function or methodology. They are ideal for PhD students and researchers who need an introductory text or update in the latest developments for a key topic or for final year undergraduate and master’s students looking for a supplementary reference source.
Biomaterials Science series
Editor-in-chief: Roger Narayan, North Carolina State University, USA.
Series editors: Pankaj Vadgama QMUL, UK; and Nan Huang, Southwest Jiaotong University, China.
To complement our existing journal, Biomaterials Science, we are launching a suite of professional reference books for the biomaterials field. The books will take a physical science and engineering approach, addressing physicochemical properties and structure-property relationships to inform function and design. Capturing underpinning principles applied to biomaterials science, as well as emerging technological advances and applications, this series will be a resource for those studying and conducting research in biomaterials science and engineering.
Molecular Engineering
Series editors: Professor Matthew Tirrell, University of Chicago, USA; and Professor Patrick Stayton, University of Washington, USA.
With the recent launch of our new journal, Molecular Systems Design and Engineering, a new book series has been created to further our presence in this emerging field. Aimed at graduates and academics, this will be a highly interdisciplinary series with crossover interest to materials scientists.
Look out for more information on these series on our bookshop.
