Our divisions & interest groups
Divisions
Our divisions are vibrant communities of people with interests spanning the breadth of chemical sciences research, education, innovation and policy.
Divisions support the development of research and training within their field and act in an advisory capacity in areas of science policy.
Divisions allow our community to stay informed of major developments in their field, such as funding and training, and they provide a valuable forum for exchanging information and ideas, which feed into our work.
Interest groups
Interest groups are scientific networks run by members for their community. Each group is themed around a specific area or application of the chemical sciences.
They organise an annual series of events to cater for both their members and the wider scientific community. These events vary from: multi-day conferences and workshops to training events.
Many interest groups run their own portfolio of awards to recognise significant contributions to the field as well as travel bursaries to help their members attend conferences. This is an excellent opportunity to network with peers in your chosen field. Membership of our interest groups is open to all members.
We have several different scientific communities each consisting of groups of active members keen to network and meet others in their field.
