RSC India Managing Director takes on senior role with Association of Publishers of India
Ajit K Sharma, Managing Director-India & South Asia Royal Society of Chemistry, has been appointed as Vice President of the Association of Publishers of India.
The Association of Publishers in India is a trade organisation for the promotion and advancement of international publishers in India as well as protecting the common interest of its members and professionals engaged in global publishing.
Ajit said: “I am proud to represent the Royal Society of Chemistry in this new role and look forward to working with the team at the Association of Publishers of India to continue the growth of Indian scholarly publishing.”
Helen Pain, Royal Society of Chemistry CEO added: “This is significant news and further cements our commitment both to celebrating the excellence of our chemical sciences community in India and ensuring their groundbreaking work reaches the largest possible global audience.
