Biography
Jongwoo Lim is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Seoul National University. He received his B.S. in Chemistry from POSTECH in 2008 and his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley, in 2013, followed by postdoctoral research at Stanford University. He joined Seoul National University in 2017. His honors include the Presidential Young Scientist Award of South Korea, the Su-Moon Park Award from the Korean Electrochemical Society, the KCS-Wiley Young Chemist Award from the Korean Chemical Society. He is also an elected member of the Young Korean Academy of Science and Technology.
His research broadly focuses on materials chemistry for energy conversion and storage, spanning energy transport, interfacial reactions, and the dynamic behavior of materials under operating conditions.
