Biography
Kathryn is Executive Editor of the Environmental & Sustainability portfolio of journals, managing the journals’ editorial and development strategies. Working closely with Editors-in-Chief, Editorial Board members, and with authors and reviewers in the environmental and sustainable sciences communities, Kathryn and her team are passionate about delivering high-quality, impactful research to a global audience.
Kathryn joined the Royal Society of Chemistry in January 2015 after completing her degree at Durham University, UK. She has held positions on several journal teams in different publishing and journals development roles, including leading our Journals Launch Team in 2020 - 2024.
Outside of work, Kathryn loves creative and social activities, including games and crafts evenings with friends, and is a mum to a toddler who keeps her very busy.
