Dr Kevan Gartland
Biography
I have more than 35 years experience in Toxicology and product safety assessment as a Wellcome Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in Academia and from industry in the Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) and the Speciality Chemicals sectors.
In addition I have more than 30 years experience in working with government agencies to successfully obtain active ingredient and formulated product authorisations (under the requirements of the Biocidal Products Directive [98/8/EC and Regulation [528/2012/EU]) as a prerequisite to marketing authorisation, as well as responding to consumer and customer queries relating to toxicology, product safety, regulatory affairs and to accidental poisoning events.
