Biography

Rob Dryfe is a Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Manchester. His research interests span a broad range of topics related to electrochemistry, including electrochemistry of carbon (nano)materials and electrochemical study of liquid-liquid interfaces. Rob studied at the Universities of Edinburgh and Oxford, and pursued post-doctoral work in Lausanne (EPFL) and Oxford. He was appointed to a lectureship in Manchester (UMIST) in the last millennium, and has subsequently served the RSC as a past chair of its electrochemistry interest group and as an elected member of the Faraday Community for Physical Chemistry council.
