Biography

Since 1993 I have worked in academia and industry developing chemical processes and technology for making molecules with applications in biorefining, commodity, fine and speciality chemicals, flavours and fragrances, materials and pharmaceuticals.

This experience has formed the basis of my creative and innovative mindset in the chemical technology landscape: understand, solve, develop and launch. Most of my background has been in an industrial setting, developing new drug substances (NCEs) and active pharmaceutical ingredients in the outsourced pharma sector.

My experience covers the full cycle of chemical product development from concept to commercialisation therefore I can help connect the dots. I also have a good understanding of how this sector works and have built a good network of contacts whom I can tap into, when needed. I strongly believe in continuous improvement and that things can always be done better with new technologies adopted early on.
