Yongfa Zhu

Biography

Yongfa Zhu was born in jiangsu, China. He received his BSc (physical chemistry) in 1985 at Nanjing University), Master Degree(Physical Chemistry) in 1988 at Peking University and Ph D (Physical chemistry) in 1995 at Tsinghua University, China. 

He joined the faculty at Tsinghua University as a lecturer in 1988. He began to work in Ehime University, Japan as a postdoctoral fellow form 1995 to 1997. He was promoted as an associate professor of Chemistry in 1997 and was promoted as a full professor of Chemistry at Tsinghua University in 2001. His main research interest is Photocatalysis and application in green energy and environment.
