Our Researcher Mobility Grants support PhD students and early career researchers working in either academia or industry to undertake short to mid-term scientific visits to collaborators at overseas or UK organisations.
There are two options that you can apply for:

- One-off or multiple visits to the same organisation over two years
- Individual visits up to three months each
|Visits within the UK/ROI**
- One-off visit of up to three months
* Our grants will contribute towards travel to and from the host institution, accommodation and subsistence during the visit.
** Refers to applicants currently working or holding a contract in the UK and Republic of Ireland or overseas regardless of nationality.
To be eligible for this grant, you must satisfy all of the following conditions at the time of the application deadline:
||Associate Member of the RSC (AMRSC) or greater
PhD student undertaking a chemistry PhD course OR
Postdoctoral/early career researcher within 10 years post-PhD OR
Industrialist with a chemical science degree or a Registered Science Technician (RSciTech)/Registered Scientist (RSci) designation
You did not receive an RSC Researcher Mobility Grant in the previous application round AND
You are not currently undertaking a project supported by an RSC Researcher Mobility Grant
