HPLC Method Development

Method development in the modern HPLC laboratory is challenging but can be approached very logically and is hugely rewarding when a fit for purpose method is produced.

This course provides you with the underpinning knowledge to begin your HPLC method development career. It has been designed for those who are experienced in HPLC and who are now looking to develop their understanding of method development. During the course we will assume that you are familiar with the basic theories of liquid phase chromatographic separations, but we’ll also revisit some theory to underpin the teaching.

Logical and informed method development leads to high quality, reproducible, and robust HPLC methods. This course considers the wide array of equipment and chemistry choices available to method developers in the modern analytical laboratory and teaches a refined and logical approach to method development.

Session 4 | Runtime - 139 minutes

• Transferring methods
• HILIC
• UV
• MS

Each video session is accompanied by supporting modules from CHROMacademy and we will use the animations within CHROMacademy to clearly illustrate the science and processes that are being discussed. All four sessions should be completed in order to gain the full training. The final assessment must be completed in order to gain your certificate of completion.
