This module provides an introduction to gas chromatography and an overview of the analytes and samples analysed using the technique.

The course looks at the basics of separation, providing an overview of the GC system and the chromatogram.

This is module 1 of the Virtual Classroom Training: Practical Essentials of GC & GC-MS (total 18 hours over 5 days) and the Virtual Classroom Training: Complete GC & GC-MS (total 30 hours over 9 days).

Prerequisites

This course is for those who have a basic knowledge of gas chromatography and would like an overview of the technique before learning each part in more detail.
