Prizes archive
We have recognised excellence in the chemical sciences for more than 150 years and we are proud of this legacy and history.
This prize is part of our archive that holds a digital library of our previously administered prizes, their history, and previous winners.
The Schools Education Award was presented to a teacher or team who had demonstrated an exceptional ability to teach chemistry and inspire students at any pre-university level, either over a prolonged period of time or by making a large impact in a short period of time.
This award was discontinued in 2020, as part of a series of changes resulting from an independent review of the Royal Society of Chemistry's recognition programmes.
