Irene Sanchez Molina Santos

Biography

Irene has worked as a Publishing Editor at the Royal Society of Chemistry since March 2022. After completing a PhD in supramolecular chemistry at the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid, in Spain, she took a postdoctoral position at Imperial College London in the UK, where she mainly conducted spectroscopic studies on materials for photovoltaic applications. She then held a second postdoctoral position at ICIQ in Tarragona, Spain, where she worked with magnetic materials. She has published 25 peer-reviewed articles.

Outside work, Irene enjoys playing rugby, gardening and reading.
