Nour Tanbouza
Biography
Nour is the Development Editor for Energy & Environmental Science (EES), EES Batteries, EES Catalysis, EES Solar, Sustainable Energy & Fuels, and Energy Advances. She started her journey with the Royal Society of Chemistry in 2021 as a Publishing Editor before transitioning into her current role in 2022.
Nour completed her PhD in Chemistry at Laval University in Canada under the supervision of Professor Thierry Ollevier, with co-supervision from Professor Kevin Lam at the University of Greenwich, UK. Her research focused on exploring new reactivity of diazo surrogates in both batch and continuous-flow systems and co-authored 12 peer-reviewed publications in the field of synthetic organic chemistry.
She is passionate about green chemistry, sustainable technologies, and the role of chemistry in addressing global challenges.
