Synthesis, spectroscopic properties and molecular structure of the paramagnetic complex [(η5-3,5-di-tert-butyl-1,2,4-triphosphacyclopentadienyl)(η5-2,4,5-tri-tert-butyl-1,3-diphosphacyclopentadienyl)]vanadium(II)

Abstract

Cocondensation of vanadium vapour with the phosphaalkyne ButCP affords the paramagnetic complex [V(η5-P3C2But2)(η5-P2C3But3)], whose molecular structure is determined by a single crystal X-ray diffraction study.
