In situ probing of surface sites on supported molybdenum nitride catalyst by CO adsorption

Abstract

Both molybdenum and nitrogen sites on fresh Mo 2 N/Al 2 O 3 are probed by adsorbed CO giving two characteristic IR bands at 2045 and 2200 cm - 1 , respectively.
