A microporous framework from a magnetic molecular square: [Co(HAT)Cl2]4 (HAT = 1,4,5,8,9,11-hexaazatriphenylene)

Abstract

The neutral, paramagnetic molecular square [Co(HAT)Cl2] 1,4,5,8,9,11-hexaazatriphenylene (HAT) form stacks with large open, water-filled channels that constitute approximately 37% of the void space in the crystal.
