An unprecedented ambipolar charge transport material exhibiting balanced electron and hole mobilities

Abstract

2,7-Bis(4-tert-butylphenyl)-9,9′-spirobifuorene exhibits balanced electron and hole mobilities of up to 10–3 cm2 V–1 s–1, as measured using time-of-flight techniques.
