Heterocyclic phosphorus ligands from cluster-bonded allenylidene

Abstract

The reactions between dppm or dppe and Ru3(μ-H){μ3-C2CH2(OH)}(CO)9 in the presence of HBF4·OMe2 afford complexes containing novel diphosphacycloalkyne ligands, formed by double nucleophilic attack of the di-tertiary phosphine on an intermediate allenylidene complex.
