Splendidin, isolated from Salvia splendens(Labiatae) has been shown by 1H and 13C n.m.r. determinations to be 1,11-diacetoxy-15,16-epoxy-trans-cleroda-2,13(16),14-trieno-12,17:19,18-dilactone (2).
