RSC Journals - the best gets better
The Royal Society of Chemistry's journals have produced some big winners in the latest release of impact factors, calculated by ISI ®.
Impact factors, a widely-respected yardstick, provide an indication of the average number of citations per paper. Produced annually by ISI®, they are calculated by dividing the number of citations in a year, by the number of citeable articles published in the preceding two years. The figures released last week sees RSC journals strengthen their positions.
Many of the world's leading chemical scientists submit papers to RSC journals, attracted by the Society's reputation for high quality peer review, fast publication times, and of course, high impact.
