RSC puts climate change teaching at top of agenda
In a day of intense media activity at the RSC, chief executive Dr Richard Pike is quoted on the front page of The Independent, while Colin Osborne has appeared on BBC Radio Five Live.
Dr Pike's concerns about the standard of teaching of climate change - originally featured in The Independent last week - have appeared again on the front page of the same paper, as part of a story about how the government plans to improve climate change teaching.
A comment piece inside the paper draws further attention to the subject and again quotes Dr Pike.

Following this, education schools and colleges manager Dr Colin Osborne was interviewed on BBC Radio Five Live's lunchtime news bulletin.
Dr Osborne was asked about the changes he would like to see in Climate Change teaching, and stressed the need for the science aspects of the issue to be addressed in science rather than geography lessons.
