Richard Pike joins biofuels expert panel on BBC World Service
The BBC World Service, having seen Royal Society of Chemistry comments on future energy needs elsewhere in the media, invited the RSC to participate in an international discussion on biofuels in particular.
RSC CEO Dr Richard Pike formed part of a panel of biofuels experts to discuss the future of biofuels and sustainable energy.
The 30-minute programme, first transmitted yesterday (Discovery Discussion) and hosted by Sue Nelson, a well-known science broadcaster and writer, featured Richard Pike at various times throughout. It looked at the science of biofuel, business and societal aspects, regulation and the bigger picture of future energy provision.
