RSC statement on National Chemical Database service

The Royal Society of Chemistry and the EPSRC are continuing negotiations over the contract for the provision of the national chemical database service. The negotiations involve complicated transfers of service; these are now close to conclusion. We hope this clarifies the current situation and a further update will be provided in due course.
