Polish institutions sign Read & Publish agreements with the Royal Society of Chemistry
The Royal Society of Chemistry has agreed two new Read & Publish deals with academic and research institutions in Poland, the first time we have signed such a deal in Poland.
The Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Polish Academy of Sciences and Warsaw University of Technology are the first institutions in Poland to sign the deal – which enables their researchers to publish gold open access in any of our hybrid journals, at no further cost to the author.
The agreement is for one year initially and can be extended by a further year.
A continually growing community
Stephen Rumbelow, Royal Society of Chemistry Director of Sales & Marketing, says: "We are proud to have added another important international partner through this Read & Publish agreement with these two leading institutions in Poland, not least as this means we can continue our support for the Polish research community as chemists continue to make great strides in facing up to the challenges of the global COVID pandemic."
A spokesperson from the Institute of Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences said: "The RSC Read & Publish is very useful for our scientists. In any problems we have quick support and assistance from the helpdesk. We are very glad to participate in this scheme."
