New RSC website coming soon

We have taken the opportunity to review our current content to ensure it best meets the needs of our community, and this means that you’ll find some things in different places.

This includes the detailed information about Subject Communities, Interest Groups and Local Sections, which will now be hosted on the members area of our website. 

We want to reassure you that while the location of the detailed content is changing, the content itself is still accessible to everyone, you won’t need to log in to access these pages, and they will remain discoverable from our main website.

These changes will improve the website experience for both members and potential members. Importantly, hosting the pages on the members area will enable us to introduce more personalised content in due course, including: 

• Tailored content serving different messages to those who are existing members of the RSC or a group, compared to those we want to join.
• Content related to Interest Groups and Subject Communities will be hosted on the same platform that members use to manage their membership preferences, making it more straightforward for members to review their current membership and join new groups.

We will continue to monitor user experience after the launch to ensure that everything is running smoothly and address any issues as they arise.
