Chemistry, art and entertainment at our summer party

We welcomed members, partners, journalists and policymakers to our annual summer party at the Royal Academy of Arts on 15 July 2014. In addition to enjoying Royal Academy Summer Exhibition, guests had a chance to experience first-hand our Spectroscopy in a Suitcase set-up, enjoy musical entertainment and make most of the networking opportunity.

Ahead of the main celebrations, our president Dominic Tildesley welcomed invited guests, who included outgoing Science Minister David Willetts and his successor Greg Clark, at the president’s reception at Burlington House. We also presented three of our latest Honorary Fellows, Professor Anne Glover, Professor Michael Levitt and Keith Wiggins, with their awards.
